With the Amazon Affiliate API plugin extension you can make your WordPress site visually appealing with products from Amazon - and with just a few clicks.
The affiliate toolkit plugin extension connects to the Amazon product feed and fetches all necessary data like price, images, description and ratings automatically. In addition, the tool also supports dynamic price updating, so you can always ensure that prices are up to date.
So with the Amazon API extension, you can fully concentrate on designing your site - without having to worry about updating product data.
The prerequisite for using the Amazon API extension is an Amazon affiliate program account. Simply log in to Amazon and create your account there. Then you can activate the Amazon API in your affiliate toolkit dashboard under settings. To do this, enter your Amazon affiliate program ID and select the currency you want to use. Once the settings are made, you can get started and import products or entire product lists.
Of course, the individual products can also be customized in an intuitive way. No programming knowledge is required for this.
The Amazon API extension provides you with several ways to display products from Amazon on your site. With the Amazon Product Importer you can import the desired products directly via a text field in any page builder or create them in the backend via the affiliate toolkit tab.
There are various templates available for displaying individual products, such as standard, bestseller, price comparison and many more. But there is also the possibility to display whole lists in a product carousel.
Once you have products embedded on your site, they will be automatically updated should the details on Amazon change.
Incidentally, we are the only plugin developer to provide an advanced list search for products.
Provided you are an Amazon partner in Germany or the UK, you can also use the site stripe mode of the extension plugin. This is especially interesting if you are still waiting for Amazon to release API access or if you have already used up your credits. If this mode is enabled, the plugin will fetch the product name, price and image directly from Amazon. However, the functionality of the extension plugin is limited in this mode. Note: This is not an official method.
